KeenOn Solutions was founded by Allison Keenan in 2006 as an external financial management and administration consultancy. Her vision was to help companies operate more smoothly and profitably by identifying any areas of concern and working with business owners to combat these.
Allison has grown a diverse team of expert consultants who have broadened the scope of our professional services. We now work with clients from a wide range of business sectors – all with unique needs.

BUSINESS & FINANCE
Allison founded KeenOn Solutions after 22 years with JMW (Aluminium) Ltd, where she was also part of the founding team. At JMW, she worked her way up to Financial Director, and has since developed her consultancy portfolio through helping turn around the fortunes of owner-managed businesses, based primarily in the North East of England.
Allison is a focused, dynamic and confident professional with a strong track record in senior management and overseeing all aspects of a business to make it run efficiently on a daily basis. As our lead consultant, she thrives on motivating others and believes communication is a key driver in building mutually successful working relationships with both colleagues and clients, at every level.
DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT & TECHNICAL APPRAISALS
Michael has led a variety of design and construction projects ranging from £100k to £1.5 billion in value. With extensive experience of both UK and overseas projects, many of which have won design awards, the projects Michael has worked on and led compete internationally in terms of design quality, scale and innovation. His career has focused on new build projects in all sectors, including commercial, residential, transport interchange, mixed use and visitor attractions but in recent years has been engaged in the technical audits of existing facades in determining compliance with the Building Regulations performance criteria and BS8414 combustibility testing.
Michael is currently contracted as part of the Design and Construction Management team at Knight Dragon Developments in London, working on the North Greenwich Peninsular Development, a 30-year build out of a series of mixed-use plot development. His portfolio of live projects also includes residential buildings, a new build commercial district – Design District Development.
Michael is also leading on some local project within the North East of England including a bespoke small scale residential development at Widdrington Station Northumberland which had very particular sensitive planning considerations that are site specific.
Before the Knight Dragon project, Michael jointly ran an architectural studio for multi award-winning RMJM, focusing on works in the Middle East and Asia. Here, he led on the technical design and project delivery of high quality, large scale mixed used development projects including Gazprom Tower in St Peterburg.
Previously, Michael had 13 years working with the world-renowned Sir Terry Farrell Architects in Hong Kong, London and Edinburgh where we worked on the delivery of a number of key projects including International Centre for Life Newcastle, The Deep Aquarium Hull, Kowloon Station Hong Kong.
BUSINESS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
With a strong background managing teams within the manufacturing and construction industry, Trisha spent most of her career with JMW (Aluminium) Ltd before joining KeenOn Solutions. A versatile, dedicated and enthusiastic member of our consultancy team, her broad skill set encompasses customer service, sales and marketing, estimating, planning and project management.
Trisha has led the planning and delivery of key local and national projects for the education, healthcare, retail and commercial sectors. Decisive and proactive in high-pressure environments, she successfully delivers high profile projects within budget to often tight deadlines.
ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE
Behind every successful manager there’s an extremely efficient personal assistant, and Caroline has been this rock for Allison for 28 years. Quick-witted and resourceful, Caroline has significant experience within various business sectors supporting Allison and other members of the team.
Over the years, this close working relationship has led to a keen insight into how the business works, at every level. Caroline plays a key role in overseeing the administrative support that is vital to our clients’ day-to-day operation.
SECURITY, DATA PROTECTION, HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL
Phil has been a Risk Management professional for over 25 years. At senior management level, he has successfully implemented and achieved certification of ISO27001, PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO20000, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems in large multi-site PLCs, as well as in small single-site businesses. His portfolio has earned Phil business awards for performance in these areas.
Phil has degrees in both Safety and Environmental Management and Business Studies and NEBOSH diplomas in Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management. He is a qualified GDPR practitioner and PCI ISA. With additional expertise in business continuity management and overall corporate responsibility, Phil is an invaluable team member who takes a diligent and detailed approach to his work.
